City of Santa Fe, Argentine Republic BRIEF HISTORY: A municipal bond issue for Argentina's fast growing city of Santa Fe, provincial capital of Santa Fe Province, just east of Cordoba in the North Central part of the country. This was the country's first attempt at selling bonds for the purpose of city expansion and modernization needs. It used as an example, numerous cities in the United States and followed the same interest patterns.
